At Steepl, she leverages her background in brokerage ownership, financial management, and team development to foster lasting partnerships and build organizational value.

Mary Lou’s career began in banking and mortgage lending, where she held leadership positions consistently exceeding performance goals and navigating complex financial portfolios. Transitioning into real estate, she successfully owned and operated her own brokerage before becoming a top producer with Coldwell Banker Realty, earning International Diamond Society and Sterling Silver recognition for her excellence in client service and sales performance.

Mary Lou’s early experience working with renowned speaker Tony Robbins strengthened her consultative communication skills and deepened her commitment to personal accountability. Beginning in the finance department at Robbins Research International, she was soon selected to represent the finance team at corporate events, where she proactively stepped into multiple roles to enhance operations and elevate the VIP client experience. During her tenure, Mary Lou was recognized for her exceptional contributions and was honored by her peers as the Most Valuable Team Member with the award presented by Tony Robbins himself.

PRINCIPAL

Cameron Crain is a venture builder, creative leader, and innovation ecosystem operator who structures early-stage ideas into investable, scalable companies. He focuses on venture architecture, capital strategy, and strategic partnerships that move intellectual property from creation to audience engagement and durable monetization as well as scaling endeavors..

He leads venture acceleration at Vanderbilt University’s Center for Technology Transfer and Commercialization and founded the Vanderbilt Venture Partners program, connecting research-driven startups with leading seed and Series A investors and helping breakthrough technologies cross the gap from lab to market. Across his career, he has helped raise more than $5.5M for venture, accelerator, and institutional initiatives, including $3M for a statewide technology accelerator and $2.5M for Sage Ridge School’s capital campaigns. Graduate of VC University Online, a joint program of NVCA and Berkeley Law.

Earlier in his career, Cameron was a professional AEA actor/screenwriter and co-founded the Nevada Shakespeare Company, serving as Producing Artistic Director and leading statewide productions and large-scale arts education initiatives. As a faculty member and director at Sage Ridge School, he built interdisciplinary programs that fused storytelling, performance, and leadership, an approach he now applies to venture design and founder development. He holds a Master’s degree in Theatre from Southern Oregon University.
